Air Tool Oil is a specially designed oil which does not mix with water to form a gelatinous solid. The air put out by an air compressor is usually humid, and using regular motor oil in your oiler will almost instantly fill every cubic inch of your air hose with a thick, greasy slime, effectively ruining your air hose and perhaps your drill as well.

While most any brand of Air Tool Oil will perform adequately to lubricate the drill without gelling with water, this brand is completely biodegradable and environmentally friendly, and non-petroleum based. It avoids any possibility of contaminating your groundwater with petroleum based lubricants.
